Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is known to be a very luxurious man in real life, who spends money the way he earns it. Recently, we have got an example of this when Akshay had flaunted a Rs.1.7 million sherwani, which was bought by his wife Twinkle.
The precious ‘sherwani’ was bought for a special occasion. Actually, Akshay went to meet former ruler of Udaipur, Sriji Arvind Mewar as he was supposed to shoot a special episode of his upcoming television show ‘Master Chef India’ in the palace.
Akshay is coming back to television again after a short stint with Colors’ reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. This time, he will be seen as the host of Star’s new cookery competition ‘Master Chef India’.
The ‘Khiladi’ star had a brief visit to Udaipur to meet the ruler, who allowed them to shoot the special episode in the palace. The huge crew of 150 members was also allowed to shoot in the palace.
The special ‘sherwani’ was studded with diamond and pearl and it was designed by renowned designer duo Abu-Jaani.
The contestants were given a special task of cooking special treat for the members of the royal family.
