Whosoever said that stardom comes with its own set of pros and cons was absolutely correct. Many a times we have seen a star falling victim to the disadvantages of his own fan following. Today, a similar incident took place with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. A die-hard fan of Big B scaled the walls of the actor’s Mumbai residence in order to croon a Bhojpuri song for Senior Bachchan!

It is no news that Amitabh Bachchan resides in a sprawling bungalow named Jalsa, in the posh area of Juhu in Mumbai. Every Sunday evening, Mumbai Police have a tough time managing the huge crowd that throngs outside the actor’s residence. Today, an ardent fan of the Shahenshah, named Bullet Banwari Lal Yadav, tried trespassing into the bungalow just to sing for his favourite actor in his mother-tongue.

According to a reliable source, the fan is 23 years old and travelled all the way from Pune to visit Mr. Bachchan. Yadav is originally a resident of Bihar, which explains the need for a Bhojpuri song. However, amidst all his excitement, the fan landed himself in jail. Apparently, Juhu Police has arrested Yadav and booked him under the Indian Penal Code Section 447 for house trespassing.

As per reports, Yadav had tried to meet the actor for five days and had failed, which made him resort to this. We hear that it was Bachchan’s cook who first saw the man climbing the wall and immediately informed the security about it.

Interestingly, a similar scenario had been depicted by Anurag Kashyap in the short film titled Murabba. The story shows a young man travelling to Mumbai from Bachchan’s hometown Allahabad to fulfil his sick father’s only wish to feed Amitabh Bachchan homemade murabba. He, too, is initially denied entry into the bungalow. Murabba was featured in Bombay Talkies, a compilation movie of brilliant short stories from the top filmmakers of B-town.
