-As things stand today, ‘Rajneeti’ has turned out to be one of those rare films which is red hot amongst audience, critics, industry insiders and trade alike. It may not be everyone’s idea of commercial entertainment but for it’s loyal target audience, ‘Rajneeti’ seems to have a lot in the offing. Wish this one doesn’t go the ‘Kites’ way.
-Release date for Karan Johar produced ‘Stepmom’ remake was earlier announced as 1st October. However, this being a shraddh period (when film makers shy away from releasing their product), the release date is all set to change.
-Madhur Bhandarkar has surprised many in the industry by announcing a romcom next. Interesting titled ‘Dil to Bachcha Hai Ji’, the multi starrer features the likes of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Omi Vaidya (‘Chatur’ of ’3 Idiots’ fame) While the leading ladies are yet to be finalised, ‘Dil to Bachcha Hai Ji’ goes on floors this July and wraps up by September post which Bhandarkar would begin work on the Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Heroine’.
-Deepika’s saree clad look in ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ has seen good eyeballs coming its way. From donning a bikini in ‘Housefull’ to being clothed as revolutionary from pre-independence era is quite some transformation for Deepika and she seems to be enjoying every bit of it.
-After the underperformance of ‘Paying Guests’ and ‘Right Yaa Wrong’, Subhash Ghai is all set to release yet another stuck film of his – ‘Hello Darling’. An all-girls starring comedy which features Celina Jaitly, Gul Panag, Eesha Koppikhar and Amrita Arora, the film has been in the making for quite some time now and would now be arriving on 9th July.
-The music of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ is carrying fantastic reports and it is being said that Vishal-Shekhar have created magic once again with Siddharth Anand and Ranbir Kapoor after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’.
