The makers of a movie have always desired to release the first look of their film with a movie that they know will be a crowd-puller. Something very similar can be witnessed in the Bollywood industry right now. The first trailer of Ajay Devgan’s much-anticipated movie Shivaay will be showcased along with the screenings of Akshay Kumar’s thriller drama Rustom. Needless to say, both the movies are in a win-win situation.

Akshay Kumar’s Rustom has been awaited for quite a long time now. The film, which is based on the infamous Nanavati murder case, also stars Ileana D’Çruz and Esha Gupta in important roles. Considering the kind of reaction that the trailer and music of the movie have garnered, Rustom looks like it will be a sure-shot entertainer.

On the other hand, Shivaay is Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut; the actor has been away from the silver screen for quite a long time. The action-thriller is produced and directed by him under the banner of Ajay Devgan FFilms. Starring new faces like Sayyeshaa Saigal and Erika Kaar, the movie is gearing up for a big Diwali release. If the posters are anything to go by, this one looks like a winner!

The trailer of Shivaay will be attached with Rustom. Devgan’s manager has been quoted saying that Ajay is of the opinion that Rustom will be a big hit.  Hence, he wanted to attach the theatrical trailer of his movie with Rustom. He requested Khiladi Kumar through Kumar Mangat if its possible and Akshay gave his nod. Since then, director Devgan has been spending more than 18 hours every day to complete the trailer work, since Akki’s film is set to release on the 12th of August.

Come 12th August, and the audiences will be in for a double dose of entertainment; we must say, it is quite a smart move on the part of Ajay Devgan.
