Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is currently busy with the second season of thriller TV show titled 24. The actor has been garnering a lot of appreciation for his stellar performance. However, Anil is currently in the news for apparently supporting his daughter, Rhea Kapoor’s love story. Reports say that Kapoor has revived the film which was supposed to be her daughter’s boyfriend’s debut venture!

Anil Kapoor’s production house was backing a film titled Saat Hindustani. This was a few years ago. The title was then changed to Saat. However, reports soon flew in that the film has been shelved. The reason was cited as high production cost. This movie was supposed to mark the directorial debut of Karan Boolani, who is alleged to be Rhea Kapoor’s boyfriend. In fact, Rhea herself is a well-known producer with movies like Khoobsurat, Aisha, and the upcoming Veere Di Wedding to her credit.

But now, according to recent reports, the project has been revived by Anil Kapoor and his production company. In fact, it is being said that the Dil Dhadakne Do actor is taking a keen interest in the project. However, a few changes have been made in the script. Though the star cast had been almost locked earlier, the makers are currently on the lookout for fresh faces.

Reports say that the first filming schedule of the movie will begin the end of this year. The duration of the schedule which has to be shot in the US has been reduced from 40 days to 10 days. When Karan was quizzed about this, he said that the project was never shelved and has been very much on track.

Karan has assisted during Wake Up Sid and Aisha and is currently co-directing the second season of 24, which stars Anil Kapoor. Buzz is that Kapoor wants Boolani to experience direction before beginning with his own film.
