Ranbir And Anushka To Be A Part Of Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic

Apparently, rumours were rife about who is going to be the leading lady of this biopic ever since the film was announced. Many top actresses were being considered for the roles of Madhuri Dixit and Manyata Dutt but nobody had been finalised. Now we hear that none other than Sultan actress Anushka Sharma has been finalised for a pivotal character of the film.

A source close to the film has reported that Anushka will not be Madhuri Dixit or Manyata Dutt. She will portray the role of a biographer who will chronicle Sanjay’s life in the movie. Though this will be a guest appearance, but will be a strong character who will bind the film. We also hear that Anushka was approached by Hirani with whom she shares a good rapport. The director has directed her in the Aamir Khan starrer PK.

Director Rajkumar Hirani Is Currently Working On The Script

When Sanjay Dutt walked out of prison in February after serving a 42 month sentence for the 1993 Mumbai blasts, his entire family was there to receive him. Even his good friend Rajkumar Hirani was there to receive him. In fact, the happy reunion also served as the first shot of the film since Hirani wanted to capture the moment real-time.
