The First Motion Poster Of Kahaani 2 Is Intriguing

Actress Vidya Balan has recently been in the news for falling ill with dengue. Due to this, she also had to go on a break for some time. The Dirty Picture actress has a quite a few films lined ahead of her. However, the most-talked-about venture out of all her upcoming movies has to be Kahaani 2. The sequel to Sujoy Ghosh’s earlier suspense thriller has been in the pipeline for quite a long time now. And now finally, the first motion poster of the film has been revealed.

Vidya Plays The Role Of Durga Rani Singh

The poster reveals the look that Vidya would be sporting in the film. In the video, a news channel flashes a poster of Durga Rani Singh, essayed by Vidya, who is on the run for kidnapping and murder. Clearly, the police is on the lookout for Durga. The poster is intriguing and rises the expectations of the audiences from the film.

Kahaani 2 – Durga Rani Singh, is clearly based on Vidya’s character. She plays the role of a 36-year old woman who is currently on the run due to the crimes that have been charged on her. The sequel has been produced by Kushal Kantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada and Sujoy Ghosh. It has also been written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Kahaani 2 Releases On December 2

While the earlier installment starred Vidya Balan as the legendary Vidya Bagchi, Bengali mainstream actors like Parambrata Chatterjee, Indraneil Mukherjee, and Abir Chatterjee supported her. Likewise, in this flick too, Vidya will be seen sharing screen space with the very talented actor, Arjun Rampal. Moreover, much controversy had been revolving around the movie’s release date. Earlier, the movie was supposed to hit the theatres in the month of November. However, when Gauri Shinde and Karan Johar announced the release of Dear Zindagi around that time, the makers felt it wise to postpone the release to the 2nd of December.
