It seems that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project Padmavati is still facing out problems. It is now quite difficult for the filmmakers to deal with the unexpected incidences that are still poking against the making of the movie. While Sanjay has decided to stop shooting in Rajasthan after the Jaipur incident took place, last night again a goon of 25 members attacked the crew members and set fire on the set of Padmavati, at Kolhapur Maharashtra.
As per the latest updates, a group of 15 to 20 masked people attacked the ongoing shooting of Padmavati and torched and beaten the crew members. Not only this, the group set fire to the particular location where a fighting sequel was about to be shot. After the incident, Bhansali Production members has clarified that around 80% costumes, jewellery, expensive wooden bags has been reduced to ashes, which cost a loss of 4 cr to the makers.
The goons used petrol bombs to destroy the shoot location. As per the production, members report, an enormous crew of horses. Camels were there as the fight location was sequenced to be a big scene.
All the incident wrapped up within 15 minutes. The fire casualty also had a huge impact on the set making a serious injury to a horse. Karni Sena has welcomed the incident and also clarify the same statement that if the makers continue to present the wrong facts in the movie, the protest will not stop.
Earlier, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had suffered a mob attack in Jaipur where the shooting was abandoned and the director decided to shut down the shoot in Rajasthan state.
Meanwhile, the Bhansali Productions Private Limited members have filed a complaint against the said incident.
