Madhur Bhandarkar Released The Poster Of Indu Sarkar On The First Day Of The Shooting


Madhur Bhandarkar is now up with his next project. The upcoming movie is named as Indu Sarkar. While the makers of the movie have started the movie on a very bold and unique topic, it seems likely that the execution of the same would be of a much higher magnitude.

The movie started filming today, and Kirti Kulhari, who has been popular after her outstanding performance in the movie Pink, will be playing the role of Indu Sarkar. Apart from her, Tota Roy Choudhury and Neil Nitin Mukesh are also a part of the project. The movie will revolve around the 21 months long emergency that was declared by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The movie would showcase, the life of a young Bengali poetess who stood strong to rebel against the Emergency that was declared between 1975 to 1977.

On 19th of December 2016, Madhur Bhandarkar took to the social media, to announce the beginning of the shooting of the movie. He also released the poster of the movie on his twitter handle. Apart from that, the 48-years old director also asked for the support & blessings which he says he would always need.

Madhur Bhandarkar is a known face in the Bollywood industry. He has been the directors of some of the best movies that the nation has ever produced. Madhur started with the direction in the year 1999, when he had directed the movie Trishakti. Henceforth, he has from time to time established his superiority over all other directors. This has been because of the great movies that he has presented the audiences with. His movie, Fashion, had won him critical critics and appreciations from all around the nation. The movie had earned him several awards and nominations. It would be really interesting to see how the Padma Shri awardee comes up with the movie on this sensual topic.
