Ranveer Singh And Aditya Chopra Bond Over Befikre

After two back-to-back major hits, Ranveer Singh can now be counted among the A-listers of Bollywood. The actor’s demand in tinsel town is on a constant rise. However, Ranveer owes it all to Yash Raj Films, the production house which gave him his big Bollywood break in Band Baaja Baaraat. Now that the actor reunites with YRF for his upcoming flick Befikre, it seems like director, Aditya Chopra and Ranveer Singh have bonded like buddies in the Paris schedule of the movie.

A source close to the YRF head honcho, Aditya Chopra recently revealed that Ranveer is one of the director’s all-time favourites. Out of the list of protégés that Adi Chopra has guided over the years, which includes names like Sushant Singh Rajput, Ayushmann Khurana, Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer is the one he adores. Ranveer was the first choice of the ace director when he decided to begin his most intense romantic movie, hence he willingly waited for an entire year for the actor to wrap up Bajirao Mastani.

On the other hand, Mr. Bittoo Sharma is already known to share an excellent camaradie with his directors. His rapport with Sanjay Leela Bhansali was much-talked about during the making of Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani. After working with such esteemed directors, Ranveer, too, was more than happy to return to his alma-mater and be a part of Aditya’s much-awaited directorial venture. Ranveer is very close to the director and their fun Paris schedule has been a reflection of the good old times.

Befikre stars the Shudh Desi Romance debutante, Vaani Kapoor as Ranveer’s leading lady. If the much-hyped posters are anything to go by, the chemistry between the star pair is absolutely sizzling. Considering the fact that it is helmed by YRF, It sure looks like this movie is going to be the love saga of the year! The film is all set to hit the theatres on the 9th of December this year.
