Smashing records made by Bahubali 2, which are hard to defeat in coming years


Bahubali – The Conclusion is considered to be one of the finest movies made in the world and not only in India. With just five days of its release, it has been able to enter 700 crore club. Breaking and creating Records is not new in Indian cinema with Dangal, PK, Sultan making a record over the years but it seems Bahubali 2 record-breaking storm will continue and it would be hard to break it. It would need another magnum opus to break the records set by Bahubali – The Conclusion.

Let us look at some of the records set by Bahubali 2.

Highest opening day Collection

With movies like Dangal, PK, Sultan took around 3 day time to cross 100 crore mark, Bahubali – The Conclusion minted Rs 121 Crore on day 1 itself. It even beat the collection of Bahubali The Beginning that stood at Rs 50 Crores.

Fasted Rs 100 Crore mark

Babubali 2 raked in Rs 100 Crore in just one day and became the first ever movie to enter 100 crore club in one day.

Highest Day Collections

Aamir Khan’s Dangal set the record for Highest grossing of Rs 42.35 Crores on Sunday, which is now crushed by Bahubali – The Conclusion. In fact, it also broke the record of collections of First Monday (Rs 80 Crores) by a film, which was held by Hrithik Roshan’s  Krish 3 (Rs 35.91) crores.

Highest First Weekend Collection

Bahubali 2 entered Rs 300 Crore club by the end of the first weekend. It also became the first movie to make the highest money in the first weekend which was hailed by Salman Khan’s Sultan (180.36 Crores).

Highest Grossing Indian Film

Aamir Khan’s Dangal held Highest grossing Film record with Rs 387.38 Crore collection, which has already been surpassed by Bahubali within 4 days of net collection standing at Rs 440 Crores.
