Bollywood is growing at the fastest rate and a blazing example of the same is in front of the audiences today, when one of the leading television broadcasters of India, Zee Network launches its Bollywood movie channel for the German market. From now on, the residents of German can enjoy the Bollywood news, gossips and other movie updates, from a channel that would be based on the soil of that very nation!

Zee Network Ready To Take Over The German Market

According to sources, the new channel that is launched is named as Zee One and would be targeting people in the age group of 19 to 59. Amit Goenka, the CEO of the ZEE network sites this a step forward for the international expansion strategy of the company.

The channel is planning to showcase its own shows from the Autumn. There would be various shows that would be targeting the women audiences between the age group of 19 to 59. The Bollywood site promises to come up with desi entertainment to the Germans. Friederike Behrends, CEO – Asia TV GmbH (Zee TV), said that from today onwards, the German TV would be enriched by a new channel from the Zee network which would be entertaining all the fans with the best bit of music, films and series.

In the same event, Punit Goenka did state that ZEEL is present in 171 nations across the globe and also help entertain more than a billion viewers across the world. He further stated that the launch of the new channel, Zee One is significant to them because Germany happens to be one of the most competitive television markets round the globe and that is what makes it all special for the ZEE network.

Among the eminent personalities who were present in the prelaunch of the new channel in Germany were Shah Rukh Khan, world-renowned Bollywood actor, the CEO and MD of Zee Network, Punit Goenka, Friederike Behrends, Amit Goenka, CEO-International Broadcast Business, ZEEL and also, the Indian Ambassador to Germany, Gurjit Singh.
