JEE Main Result 2017: Entrance Exam result date for IIT & NIT announced


JEE main exam was conducted successfully on 10th and 11th of April at various examination centers. This exam is for those aspirants who want to seek admission in one of the top engineering colleges in the country for B.E./B.TECH and B Planning. There were around 113 examination centers assigned to organized the JEE main examination in both offline and online mode. The JEE Main Result would likely to be available for the students on 27th of April 2017.

JEE Main Result

CBSE which is a central authority to conduct many competitive exams in India. Every year the said department organize Join Entrance Test (JEE) in two levels which are mains and advanced. Those candidates who have been participated in the JEE mains exam were judged on the basis of a fix criteria of ranking. Those entrants who will be securing rank under 2,20,000 will be marked as eligible for the JEE advanced qualifiers. Meanwhile, CBSE would upload the JEE Main exam answer key on the official site from 18th to 22nd of April 2017.

Steps to check JEE Main Result

  • Log in to to the official website of JEE main
  • On the right-hand corner check for news and announcement section
  • Under this, there will be a link “click here for JEE Main Result 2017’
  • Click on it and a pop window will appear asking your registration ID and roll number
  • Submit the credentials
  • Your JEE main scores 2017 will appear on screen
  • Save it and take out the print out for further use

In this year JEE main Exam, the Ministry of Human Resource Development has notified that 12th class marks will not be calculating the ranks in JEE Main Exam. However JEE advanced students seeking for the admission in IIT, NIT, and IIIT are required to score 75% marks in class 12th examination, or they must have top 20 percentile in the 12th class by the respective boards. There will be relaxation for SC and ST candidates, they can get admission if they score above 65%.
