Ranveer Singh To Perform With Coldplay

Reports say that names like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, A. R. Rahman, and Aamir Khan will be joining Coldplay and Jay Z in the concert. However, the latest addition to the list of performers is our very own Bajirao, Ranveer Singh. According to sources, the Befikre actor has been roped in to be one of the major performers at the festival. He has already been in the news due to his latest hits, string of wacky endorsements, and social media posts. Hence, he was an obvious choice for the organisers. Apparently, Ranveer will be seen performing to his biggest hits during the concert. Plus, after his recent performance with Major Lazer, choosing him for the festival doesn’t come as a surprise.

Concert Will Be Held In Mumbai

The large-scale concert to be held in November will be a six-hour long event. As a matter of fact, the Global Citizen Campaign is organizing several concerts across the world to create awareness about the increasing issue of poverty. The series of global events will kick start this month in New York with big names like Rihanna, Demi Lovato, amongst others. However, the Mumbai concert will be special since it is the first of its kind in India. Apart from live performances and short films, UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will also be addressing the crowd and speaking about the issue of poverty.
