Fawad Khan Is Not A Part Of Salman Khan’s Next

Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan, is one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. After brilliant performances in movies like Kapoor & Sons, the actor will now be seen in Karan Johar’s big Diwali release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Recently, there was also news about Fawad Khan being a part of Salman Khan’s next production venture. Reports were suggesting that the Pakistani actor had already been signed for a movie which was to be produced by Salman Khan Films. However, now the director of the film is denying the report.

Nitin Kakkar Is The Director Of This Flick

Director Nitin Kakkar, who has earlier directed Filmistaan, will be the one helming this particular project. However, the filmmaker is clueless about the rumours revolving around bringing Fawad on board. In a recent media interaction, Nitin said that he has not signed any actor as of now. Though he has read about it in the papers, he states that the reports are untrue.

The movie will be produced jointly by Salman Khan Productions and B. R. Chopra Films. Though the makers are currently considering and meeting a number of actors, nothing has been finalised yet. In fact, even the rumours of the film being a love story are false. It is not going to be an urbane love story with Fawad Khan. Since they are still in the process of casting actors, they will make an official announcement as soon as someone is signed.

The Project Is Not A Love Story, Clarifies Director Nitin Kakkar

When quizzed about the MNS controversy surrounding the URI attacks and Pakistani actors, Nitin said that an artist does not belong to a nation or a religion. Talent is not bound by such parameters. Making artistes bear the brunt of such tense situations will definitely not help it. This is just a way of political parties to gather votes and fool the public.
