It is a well-known fact in the media industry that the Kapoors are short-tempered and arrogant. There have been a number of instances where a member of the family has been found misbehaving with journalists and fans. Recently, another such incident surfaced. It has been reported that the Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor used physical force on journalists and fans during the Ganpati visarjan in Mumbai.
After ten days of festivities, Maharashtra geared up for a grand day of Ganpati Visarjan on the 15th of September. Just like thousands of others, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor head to a beach in Dadar to immerse the Ganpati idol of the RK Studios in Chembur. They chose to walk from Chembur to Dadar. Coincidentally, Mumbai saw heavy rains during the entire day.
Randhir And Rishi Hit People During Visarjan
However, soon after the visarjan came to an end, a video started doing the rounds of social media where Randhir Kapoor was seen slapping a journalist and Rishi Kapoor was seen misbehaving with fans. While the video has caused outrage among the journalists, apparently the Kapoors have an explanation to offer.
Talking to an entertainment portal, Rishi Kapoor said that it was raining and since they were walking for around 4 kilometers, mayhem began. People started creating a monstrous crowd and climbing over barricades to see the stars. Eventually, Randhir and Rishi lost their cool and began pushing, slapping and shoving people who were urging them for audio bytes and selfies.
The Video Clip Has Gone Viral
Apparently, Rishi Kapoor gave the justification that he was just trying to manage the crowd just like the Mumbai police. He said that journalists were irritating them by shoving their cameras during the religious festivities were on. He also denied rumours that Ranbir had hit anybody. However, people are not ready to buy such reasons for such inappropriate behavior.
