KJo has denied the rumours of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil being inspired from the old hit, Doosra Aadmi that featured Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, and Rakhee in leading roles. However, movie buffs believe that SRK will be essaying the role of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband. This role was played by Shashi in the original flick.

Interestingly, Aishwarya has earlier played a cameo in Yash Raj Films’ iconic hit, Mohabbatein that starred Shah Rukh Khan in the leading role. A few days back, Bachchan bahu was in the news due to her alleged steamy scenes in the movie with the Rockstar actor, Ranbir Kapoor. According to grapevine, father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan was unhappy about the fact that the Jazbaa actress had said yes to such sequences.

Talking about SRK, he shares a bond with Karan that dates back to the beginning of their careers. King Khan is also doing an extended cameo in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi, which is again produced by Dharma Productions. While Dear Zindagi, that stars Ali Bhatt in the lead role, is scheduled to release on the 25th of November, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is slated to hit the theatres on the 28th of October. The film, which is gearing up for a big Diwali release, will clash with Ajay Devgn’s directorial debut, Shivaay. This certainly will be a double dose of entertainment for the audiences during the long Diwali weekend.
