When producer Ekta Kapoor and director Rhea Kapoor announced their next joint outing together, the word spread like wildfire. The movie, titled Veere Di Wedding, is touted to be the ultimate chick flick of all times. The film was star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania in lead roles. However, after the confirmation of Kareena’s pregnancy, it was doubtful about how the film would go ahead. But now it seems like all the rumours have finally been put to rest.

Earlier, the makers issued a statement saying that as a matter of fact, Kareena’s character in the flick is also pregnant, so it’s a win-win situation for the entire team. In fact, Sonam Kapoor also said that Kareena’s pregnancy is a boon, because otherwise, they would have had to use prosthetics to fake a belly bump. Even Kareena herself was pretty excited about the movie and had said that she doesn’t need a maternity leave.

However, now we hear that Bebo is experiencing morning sickness, fatigue and other pregnancy-related issues, which will worsen by the time the shooting begins next month. Hence, she has decided to opt out of the film so that the shooting isn’t delayed and the producers don’t suffer losses, since she has been advised bed rest by her doctor. In fact, reports also suggest that Ekta and Rhea have already started looking for Kareena’s replacement.

However, later Rhea Kapoor issued a statement stating that the Ki And Ka actress is still a part of Veere Di Wedding. Due to her understandable problems, the makers have decided to postpone the filming till mid-2017. Hence, the release date will also be postponed accordingly. Even Kareena confirmed it by saying that after shooting for a few parts in October, she will resume work after her delivery, in the early part of next year. Currently, the makers are working on the revised shooting dates of the film.
