Omung Kumar And Akshay Kumar Come Together For Five


Filmmaker Omung Kumar began his directorial journey with the biopic Mary Kom, starring Priyanka Chopra. After that was critically acclaimed, he headed towards another biopic, Sarbjit, starring Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, the director will now be shifting gears by helming a psychological thriller titled Five. The movie will star none other than Rustom actor Akshay Kumar!

Five, Starring Akshay Kumar Will Be A Republic Day 2018 Release

In a recent media interaction, the director was quizzed about his upcoming film. Omung excitedly said that Five will be a completely different experience for him after hard-hitting movies like Mary Kom and Sarbjit. In fact, he also went ahead to reveal that Five has been his dream project for years. The director has been nurturing the script for quite some time now. Hence, he is glad that the time has finally come when he will be able to execute his dream project.

The filming schedule of Five will begin next year and it will be a 70 day one. The crew has already planned on locales of London and Britain. As far as the release date is concerned, Republic Day 2018 has already been fixed. The most interesting fact about Five is that the viewers will get to see Akshay Kumar playing five different roles in the film! Well, now it looks like all Akshay Kumar fans have another reason to look forward to this film.

Akshay Kumar To Be Seen In A New Avatar For Omung Kumar’s Movie

Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh had co-produced Omung’s last outing, Sarbjit. They will be reuniting for this one. According to reports, the exciting storyline and fantastic music will be the USP of this thriller. For the music score, Mithoon, Jeet Gannguli, and Amaal Malik have already been brought on board. The screenplay will be done by Utkarshini Vashishtha while Ravi Varman will be the director of photography.
