Raees–Kaabil Release date to Clash: Bollywood is going to see the biggest clash next year between Raees and Kaabil. Kaabil is an upcoming Bollywood movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in main lead roles. Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, Kaabil, is all set to release on 26th January 2017 under Flimkart production. Kaabil is a big solo-heroine project for Yami as she had to share the screen with another actress in her past movies.
Films featuring ‘SRK’ in a lead role, Raees, is one of the most awaited films of the year. The superstar has already postponed the date of this year to avoid the clash with ‘Sultan’, but now it Seems like Sharukh Khan really working on things to make it favourable to avoid a big clash next year between ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’, hence he paid a visit at Hrithik Roshan’s Juhu home to met with Rakesh Roshan probably in an offer to push Kaabil from the date January 26,2017.
Reportedly, Dilwale actor after chat then took to his Twitter handle to post,
Met friend/mentor/family after many a days.Mr. R.Roshan reminded me…it’s not important to do 2 much, it’s important to get 1 right. Thx sir.

This shows that the meeting was good and ended with a happy note. But, the clash seems unavoidable by any means. Amul Mohan, trade expert and editor of super cinema, don’t think Kaabil is going to move from the spot and the reason is that they have sold a few territories to distributors and the film has already in place to show on a particular date.
Now, it seems like all efforts made by SRK to avoid the clash have been futile as Rakesh Roshan has clearly denied to re-shuffle the release date, Roshan is unwavering on the fixed release date and is not going to alter the date by any chance.
Shah Rukh Khan would always the emphasis on a solo release, but this case appears helpless for both the films. Now it’s the time to just wait and watch, but there is still a hope that makers will arrange something and gap the clash.
India lacks in that many screens to cloud two big releases. Both will dig into each other’s profit and the end will not give any clear winner, and now when the stakes are greater, the chances seems more lesson. But it is very exciting to notice, how a film will avoid clash which is still getting shot and is already bound in few territories to be sold. It means people’s expectation from Kaabil is much higher. Should Raees be alarmed?
