Running Shaadi is released this Friday which is a comedy movie with a love story twist. The film is based on the Indian weddings with lots of twists and turns. In the movie, Ram Bharose (played by AmitSadh) with his friend named as Cyber (played by ArshBajwa) and the daughter of his ex-employer Nimmi (played by Taapsee) plans to open a matrimony service for couples who wants to marry by eloping. They started this service in the small town where they mixed this idea with technology.
Tapsee Pannu Praised For Her Acting
The movie is funny and performance is up to mark. During the fun time in the movie, the love story also starts between Ram and Nimmi. The supporting character role of Cyber makes you laugh more. AmitSadh speaks in Bihari accent whereas TappseePannu did well while playing a complete Punjabi girl.
The movie does not only focus on just love story topic for those couples whose family does not agree but on equality of man and woman as well. Taapsee’s character is of Punjabi girl from a village who is open-minded towards many things in life. She breaks the stereotypes and buys condoms without any hesitation. The character is shown who has open-minded thinking about love and abortion. The chemistry between the main leads Bharose and Nimmi is just fine but not that impressive.
The first half of the film is funny and keeps the audience laughing. The second half could not hold the audience and it gets boring. The characters speak multi-languages and try to speak in multiple accents which make the audience confuse and irritates as well. The movie is stretched too much and does not entertain after the interval. The direction work is also not that impressive.
Overall, it is just one-time watch movie. It does not entertain much except for the few jokes in the first half.
