Sushant Singh Rajput is currently looking forward to his big release, M. S. Dhoni – The Untold Story, directed by Neeraj Pandey. Sushant Has Worked With YRF In Shudh Desi Romance

A long time ago, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur had planned a project named Paani which Yash Raj Films was supposed to be backing financially. Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to star in the film. The actor waited for the film for a long period of three years. During this time, he also lost out on big-budget offers like Fitoor, Ramleela, and many others. And finally, when the movie was about to begin, the production house backed out of the project. This was a huge setback for the Dhoni actor.

In fact, YRF head, Aditya Chopra had promised Befikre to Sushant Singh Rajput. But he finally cast Ranveer Singh instead of him. Since then reports have begun doing the rounds that Rajput and Chopra don’t share a good bond. However, in a recent media interaction, when Sushant was quizzed about whether he would ever want to work with Yash Raj, he replied confidently by saying ‘Why Not?’

Sushant Was The First Choice For Befikre

Though his reply may sound contradictory to what the Bollywood buzz may be, the matter will only be cleared when Sushant signs on the dotted lines for a movie which will be produced by Yash Raj Films. Till the, the media can just keep guessing. Sushant began his acting career with Kai Po Che and was acclaimed as the best debutant of the year. However, his next movie was Shudh Desi Romance, along with Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. This movie was directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films.
