We all know that Neeti Mohan is an amazing singer but at the same time, she is also one of the best young talents we have in Bollywood. We also know that she was one of the winners of the Channel V show Popstars. She makes her singing debut in 2012 with ‘Ishq Wala love’ in ‘Student of the year’. Her soundtrack in ‘Bombay Velvet’ made her more successful in the film industry.
And now this young talent is going to be a mentor in a reality show on TV named as The Voice India with Shekhar Ravjiani and Shaan. For Neeti her journey from being a contestant on a reality show to judging one has been a significant one.
Interestingly both her songs Jiya Re and Mohabbat buri Bimari features Anushka Sharma. She also won a Film fare award for her two remarkable songs Jiya Re and Ishq Wala love. And recently she was also nominated as a Best playback singer for Neeyum Naanum from the movie Naanum Rowdy Than.
She also tried her luck on acting opposite to Abay Deol in the movie Socha Na Tha. But her voice and singing remain her reason of success till date.
She always found AR Rahman as her inspiration. She always said that working with AR Rahman helps her to learn a lot of things and singing with him is a dream in its own.
Her music style is something really different and inspirational. She is also very good in singing Jazz and because of this reason Amit Trivedi offered her a song Mohabbat buri Bimari in Bombay Velvet.
Neeti’s sisters- Mukti and Shakti are established contemporary dancers, and the three of them continue to become more and more successful in the entertainment industry.
