As here we are about to discuss a few of the great actors who had started off their career with a devastating flop and sometimes even series of flop movies. While some thought of packing the bag, other prayed for a second chance, before they all became stars in our each day life.
1. Ranbir Kapoor
The Kapoor kid had started off with his career, starring Sonam Kapoor in the movie Saawariya. The movie was a great flop. However, the actor got recognition for the great bit of acting he had showcased for himself. He later went on to win several awards for the best male debutant of the year for his debut movie. Later on, Ranbir Kapoor went on to work in various movies like Rockstar, Barfi and other hits, which did earn him enough praises.
2. Katrina Kaif
The Bolly beauty. Well. you might be wondering, how someone as talented and pretty as Katrina would come up with a flop, but my dear readers, she did have a great flop in the first movie that she was a part of. The first movie, that she was a part of was called Booms. Although it had Amitabh Bachchan in it and people had expected it to make a good market, the movie failed miserably. The actress was then offered with the next film, which happened to be a hit and thus started the popularity of the beautiful lady in Bollywood.
3. Salman Khan
It might be really fascination as well as shocking for you to know that the Dabang of Bollywood, Salman Khan, who is a part of the 100 crore club had started off with his career with a flop. The movie that he had debuted in was called Biwi Ho To Aisi. Although the first movie failed, the next movie of the actor, Maine Pyar Kiya made him popular overnight and he became a well-known household name.
4. Amitabh Bachchan
Last but not the least, comes the Shahanshah Of Bollywood, the angry young man himself. The first movie that Big B had worked in was Saat Hindustani. The movie did miserably at the Box Office. However, this was not the Only flop that came from Amitabh. He had had seven flop movies in a row. The biggest star of the last few decades had packed up his bags when he was assigned the role of Zanjeer, which finally made him the biggest star of the Bollywood.
